 | After bite treatment falls into three main categories:
- medical devices for removing any poison that has has been injected, such as Ben's Insect Poison Extractor and the Aspivenin
- medications that are active against whatever has been injected during the bite or sting, such as the ammonia in After Bite
- creams and lotions that help ease the symptoms and relieve itching, etc, such as Ben's bite-ezer Cream
Generally, the well prepared traveller will go equipped with all three, and their timely application would help to ensure that the occasional bite or sting doesn't become something far more serious or debilitating.
