Highlander Kalahari Bush Hat with Head Net - Untreated

The Kalahari Bush Hat from Highlander is a sand coloured bush hat made from a soft but tough, stone washed cotton material. It is supplied with an integrated head net that is stored in a pocket inside the crown, ready for use when needed.

The hat has a 12" brim (30cm) and four brass vents in the crown for ventilation (fitted with a metal gauze screen to keep insects out) and a cord to keep it in place.

The head net is stored in a pocket inside the crown and the end of the net is actually stitched in place inside, making sure that it always stays with the hat. The hat is reversible, so the net can be worn over the brim of the hat (as shown in the picture alongside) or alternatively it can be worn over your head with the hat sitting on top. The net is proof against midges, mosquitoes, flies and ticks.

Highlander Sudan Hat with Head Net - Untreated

The Sudan Hat from Highlander is an olive green bush hat made from a tough cotton canvas material, supplied with a separate head net that is stored in a pocket inside the crown, ready for use when needed.

The hat has a 13" brim (33cm) complete with a brass press-stud at each side so the brim can be fastened up if required. It also has four brass vents in the crown for ventilation (fitted with a metal gauze screen to keep insects out) and a cord to keep it in place. The cord is actually in two parts - one loop goes behind your head and the other goes under your chin and is secured with a sliding toggle - an arrangement that keeps it firmly in place at all times, even in a strong wind.

The head net can be worn over the hat to provide protection when required and it has an elasticated drawstring and toggle at the bottom to close it around your neck. The net is proof against midges, mosquitoes, flies and ticks.
