The Craghoppers Long Sleeved Shirt has been treated with Permethrin insecticide using the NosiLife system to give it insect repellent properties that will last a lifetime of wear. It also incorporates many other details and outstanding features that add up to make it the ultimate travel shirt.

Craghoppers Desert Hat

The Craghoppers Desert Hat is a Legionnaire style hat with a flap at the back, a stiff baseball cap brim at the front and cooling vents at the side. The flap can be rolled up and secured neatly inside a pocket at the back when not required and there is an elasticated cord and toggle at the back for size adjustment.

The hat is made from a natural-feel Polyamide fabric and it is fully lined with a soft Polyester material that is designed to constantly move moisture away from the skin, thereby allowing it to evaporate naturally, keeping you cool and dry. The fabric has also been impregnated with Permethrin insecticide using the NosiLife system to give it insect repellent properties that will last a lifetime of wear.

The Craghoppers Desert Hat has an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 40+ and hence it provides very effective protection from the sun. The UPF rating quantifies the level of protection a garment gives against harmful UVa and UVb radiation. A garment rated as UPF 40+ will block over 97.5% of the UV radiation and this is the highest rating awarded under the European standard.

The Craghoppers Ultimate Pop Up Hat and Head Net has been treated with Permethrin insecticide using the NosiLife system which remains effective throughout the life of the product. It is made from a ripstop SolarDry fabric with an Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 40+ and it has cooling vents in each side, protected with mesh to keep any inquisitive insects out. These features make it the ideal hat for use in the tropics where protection is needed from both the sun and mosquitoes.

The mosquito net can be tucked away inside the hat or on top of the brim when not required and the whole hat can be folded up and packed away in the draw string bag supplied.
