Bodyguards Premium Polythene Aprons

Bodyguards Premium Polythene Aprons are made from 80 guage polythene and measure 70cm wide x 107cm long in total (27" x 42"). This includes the loop that goes around your neck, so the apron then hangs down to about knee height and wraps around at the sides so that it can be tied in place behind you.

Bodyguards Premium Polythene Aprons are supplied in flat packs and they're ideal for homecare and keeping clean and dry.

Disposable Sick Bowls

Disposable Sick Bowls are much easier to use than Sick Bags in most situations because they have a large, fixed opening you can aim for and sturdy, rigid edges to the bowl you can cling on to. They are made of pulped paper which makes them light and strong and easy to burn or compost after use.

Each bowl measures approximately 20cm wide by 8cm deep, and they are cut away slightly at the front to make it easier to tuck beneath your chin.

Vernagel Super Absorbent Powder

Vernagel Super Absorbent Powder works by transforming a liquid into a gel - one teaspoonful (5g) is enough to gel a cupful of liquid (300ml).

Vernagel Super Absorbent Powder can be used in urine bottles, bed pans, commodes and sick bowls to gel any liquid and reduce the likelihood of accidental spills. It can also be used to deal with spillages on the floor - the liquid will be turned into a gel which can then be sccoped up quite easily and disposed of via a macerator or flushed away down a toilet.

Oasis Flushmee

Oasis Flushmee are skin cleansing wipes that have been developed to be both macerator friendly and flushable. Consequently, there is no need to remove a soiled wipe from a bed pan or commode before emptying it, thereby helping to make life just a little bit easier.

Oasis Flushmee wipes are impregnated with a gentle cleansing formula that is free from soap, alcohol and lanolin and has a pH of 5.5, the natural acidity level of the skin. The wipes are lightly fragranced and they are supplied in a resealable pack containing 50 wipes. Each wipe opens out to a very handy 24cm x 22cm (9" x 8").

Water Soluble Laundry Bags

Water Soluble Laundry Bags are large plastic bags that split open at the water soluble strip that runs along the length of each bag when it is immersed in either hot or cold water. They are designed to make handling dirty laundry much easier and more pleasant.

Instructions for use:

- open the bag and fill it with the soiled laundry

- tie the top of the bag closed if desired - either by using the corners of the bag itself or the tie provided (this is a thin thread hidden in the side gusset)

- transport the bag safely and securely to the washing machine and place the whole thing inside

- when the water enters the machine the soluable strip in the side of the bag will dissolve, exposing the contents to the soap and water so it can be washed in the usual way

- after the machine has finished the now empty plastic bag will come out with the washing and it can be thrown away
