The splint is made from a sandwich of foam and aluminium which gives it both strength and flexibility. Care Plus Oral Rehydration Salts contain a mixture of salts and glucose (sugar) that can be used to help rehydrate the body when required. Dehydration can be caused by various things such as extended exercise (particularly in a hot climate) and diarrhoea - the curse of many a traveller. Small children and older people can be particularly susceptable to suffering from dehydration in these circumstances.

Care Plus Oral Rehydration Salts can help by stimulating the intake of fluid from the intestines. Each packet contains 12 sachets and typically if diarrhoea is the problem you would drink the contents of one sachet dissolved in a glass of water after each attack. Each sachet contains 5.3g of Lemon and Lime flavoured rehydration salts and should be dissolved in 200ml of water (a typical glass).

Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) are widely considered to be the best method for combating the dehydration caused by diarrhoea - but if you don't have any sachets left you can make up your own solution using the ORS Scoop to measure out the correct proportions. It has two compartments - one for sugar and one for salt, thereby allowing you to prepare the solution using the salt and sugar ratio recommended by the World Health Organisation.

Care Plus® Foot Powder dries the feet and helps to prevent blisters, reduces and prevents burning sensation and cools the skin and absorbs humidity.

Before starting your walk sprinkle your feet with Care Plus Foot Powder, then blow away the surplas powder - it should not form lumps. Repeat this process regularly while walking (first let you feet dry in the open air before applying the powder).
