The discreet money belt with invisible zip inside to hold notes is great. I had a similar one years ago and have misplaced it. The leather on the new one may need some softening/breaking in a bit (it's a bit stiff when putting on and taking off) but otherwise a very effective product which I have had difficulty finding on other websites. It is a belt I would recommend to anyone who is planning on travelling with a fair amount of necessary cash (sometimes you need more at start of travels to pay charges that require cash only - some US rental properties seem to do this, unfortunately). And after my husband's wallet was stolen one year in my old home town/city of Boston I have always been on extra safe alert since that time. One problem I did have was when I had to go through airport security where I took off the belt. For some reason the little 'teeth-like' grip bits on the inside and the lever that lifted up on that side of the buckle came undone and the metal buckle fell off. When I went to put the belt back on again I couldn't find the buckle and had to go back to security item holding box where I found it. That was my first worry. I managed to secure it back on and wear the belt again. When I got to the hotel I found some of the sellotape I packed and secured the lever in a fixed position and it didn't happen again. When sizing the belt for your own waistline and securing it I would just make sure you take the belt on and off several times to ensure that the buckle will not slip off. So, not as perfect as my older, similar design belt but an innovative design worth using.|
