Description
The Highlander Solar Shower could be just what you need when you get back to camp after a long day walking or trekking. Simply fill it with water, leave it out in the sun for a few hours to heat up and then suspend it somewhere when you’re ready to shower.
The Highlander Solar Shower is made from a tough PVC material and it is supplied with a rigid plastic tube to reinforce the handle – a feature missing from some of the cheaper models which sometimes tear as a consequence. It has a capacity of about 20 litres (4 gallons) and it is supplied with a cord for hanging it up and a flexible hose with a spray head on the end for showering with. The spray head also incorporates a shut-off valve so you don’t need to climb up to turn it off at the other end.
The Highlander Solar Shower measures 58cm x 41cm when laid out flat and it weighs 420g when empty. The black polyvinyl material attracts the heat of the sun and can heat water up to 41’C after 3 hours with direct sunlight. After use it can be rolled up and packed away.
