Mosi-Off Insect Repellent Bands provide long-lasting protection by using micro-encapsulation technology for the active ingredients, a mixture of DEET and Citriodiol. The dry micro-encapsulation means that the active ingredients are released slowly as a vapour, thereby limiting skin absorption.
Each pack contains two pairs and for maximum effectiveness wear them both simultaneously – one pair for your wrists and the other for your ankles. They’re ideal for use in the evenings when you can often be bitten around your ankles, although it should be remembered that they only give localised protection. Consequently, for complete protection they should be used in combination with trousers and a long-sleeved shirt to protect the rest of your body (and/or a standard insect repellent on any other exposed areas).
One size fits all – easy to apply with an adjustable clasp – and said to be suitable for children from the age of 6.
Usage guidelines:
– typically, the insect repellent bands can provide localised protection for up to 100 hours (4 days).
