Description

Disposable Sick Bowls are much easier to use than Sick Bags in most situations because they have a large, fixed opening you can aim for and sturdy, rigid edges to the bowl you can cling on to. They are made of pulped paper which makes them light and strong and easy to burn or macerate after use. Alternatively, the contents can be flushed down the toilet and the empty bowl can be sealed in a waste disposal bag.

Each sick bowl measures approximately 20cm wide by 8cm deep, and they are cut away slightly at the front to make it easier to tuck beneath your chin.

The Purple Turtle says: “Having spent more nights than I care to remember sitting up with sicky children these disposable bowls are a winner for me! Easy to use and reassuring to hold, the contents can be emptied down the toilet and flushed away and the bowl can be thrown away with the rubbish.”

Gelling Granules work by transforming a liquid into a gel – one teaspoonful (5g) is enough to gel a cupful of liquid (300ml).

Gelling Granules can be used in urine bottles, bed pans, commodes and sick bowls to gel any liquid and reduce the likelihood of accidental spills. They can also be used to deal with spillages of urine, vomit or blood on the floor – the liquid will be turned into a gel which can then be scooped up quite easily and flushed away down a toilet, or sealed in a plastic bag for disposal with the rubbish.

Directions for use:

– sprinkle on spill

– wait 3 minutes for gel to form

– scoop up resulting gel and dispose of appropriately

Gelling Granules are supplied here in a 100g plastic bottle.
