Description

First came the Adventure Hat, then the Ultra Adventure Hat, and now…introducing the Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Storm Hat: what we like to call the world’s best rain hat. Featuring 100% waterproof seam-sealing technology, this hat is easy to fold, stash in your pack, and perfect for backpacking or hiking in the rain!

The Ultra Adventure Storm Hat breathes, fits comfortably, and has a chin strap so it stays put in high winds. Wherever your adventures take you, this hat will keep you dry. Guaranteed.

UPF 50 – This is the highest rating available and it means it blocks at least 98% of the UV radiation.  Less than 1/50th of the UV rays are able to pass through, allowing you to diminish the sun, not the fun!
Fabric – 78% Nylon 22% Polyester. Liner: 100% Polyester.
Features – Reinforced brim structure with Reflective details and Integrated wicking mesh liner.
Water and Stain Resistant – Fully taped seams from total waterproof wear.
Protection – This hat has an 8 cm (3.25 inch) reverse clamshell brim with a 15 cm (6 inch) neck cape, which can be tucked into the crown when not required.
Packing Instructions – Brim folds for compact travel.
Lightweight – 85g.

Pine Mineral Shadow Taupe

Measuring – circle the crown of the head with string or dental floss, above the eyebrows and ears. Measure the length of string on a ruler and compare to the size ranges listed in the hat description, then there’s your size! Many, but not all, of the hats feature an adjustable sizing system.

When you receive your hat, loosen or tighten the adjustable sizing system as necessary for your custom fit. Wearing the hat slightly above eyebrows and ears will allow clear front and peripheral vision.

Next Day Signed For (orders placed on Monday to Friday for Next Day Delivery)

(order before 2.30 pm Monday to Friday) – £7.95 for a parcel up to 1 kilogram in weight – more for heavier parcels.  Delivery time – typically next working day after posting – but it is advisable to contact us first to confirm the items are in stock and can be dispatched in good time.  Generally though the goods are in stock unless they are labelled as ‘Out of Stock’.  Parcels are usually sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL and in both cases somebody needs to be there to sign for the parcel.  If this is likely to be a problem please let us know.

Europe (with tracking) Royal Mail (excluding Courier)

£10.95 for the first item, plus £1.00 extra for each additional item.  Delivery time – typically 2 or 3 weeks because of delays when going through customs.

Rest of the World (with tracking) Royal Mail (excluding Courier)

£11.95 for the first item, plus £3.00 extra for each additional item.  Delivery time – typically 2 or 3 weeks because of delays when going through customs.

Please Note – Parcels that are sent via Airmail may be be subject to additional taxes and customs charges. With our Tracked Airmail service you may be required to pay import taxes or customs calculated by your local customs authority. This is usually calculated on the weight and value of the parcel and not something we can estimate cost for you.
