When it comes to insect repellent, Ben's 100 Safari Strength Insect Repellent Spray is the business. It contains 95% DEET, so it's serious stuff for savage conditions - giving you up to 10 hours protection against the most viscious biting bugs, including mosquitoes, midges, ticks and flies.

Don't get bitten - get Ben's!

Use it when the risk of being bitten poses a real danger or threat in exotic locations where there may be a risk of insect-bourne diseases such as malaria, dengue fever or West Nile Virus. It may even be worth its weight in gold in safer climes such as parts of Scotland where insect attack can often be sustained, severe and intolerable, although not usually quite so deadly! However, because of its strength, Ben's 100 isn't recommended for casual use, or for children under 10 and mothers to be.

Ben's 30 Insect Repellent Spray (30% DEET)

Ben's 30 Standard Strength is a water-based insect repellent containing 30% DEET, and it can provide up to 8 hours protection against mosquitoes, midges, ticks and all other types of biting insects.

Recommended for general use in most European and North American locations, and said to be suitable for children from the age of 2. However, if you suffer severe reactions from insect bites, or if you're travelling to more exotic locations where insect-bourne diseases such as malaria, dengue fever or West Nile Virus are present, adults should use Ben's 100 Safari Strength for maximum protection.

Ben's Family Insect Repellent Cream is a lightly scented, easily applied and quick drying cream containing 30% DEET, the world's most effective insect repellent. It's said to be suitable for the whole family over 2 years of age, and provides up to 8 hours of protection against mosquitoes, midges, ticks and other types of biting insects.

Some insect repellents can be a bit unpleasant to use, but this product is different - simply unscrew the cap, smell it and gently rub it on to your skin to discover why.

Ben's Insect Poison Extractor is a novel device for the painless removal of insect poison, thereby relieving the discomfit caused by insect bites and stings from bees and wasps.
